The first series of MILS rules were published on HispaBrick Magazine 013, early in 2012. However, the first modules came to life in 2011. Before that there was no MILS, and we were happy AFOLs... The search to build modular terrains for Panzerbricks pictures was the seed of the idea, my previous wargaming experience paved the basis, and the need to establish common standards for the dioramas of our LUG (HispaBrick Magazine) triggered the birth of MILS.
